Low Carbon Building Products
Save Board understands the importance of establishing that a building product is fit for purpose. All good buildings start with good building products. To that end over the coming months we will be preparing all the necessary documentation to demonstrate that Save Board meets all their obligations under s14G of the Building Act.
Our boards are made from the same composite packaging for every product; however we are able to change the facing material for each different applications and intended scope of use. Typical facing materials include recycled paper, fibreglass and ceramic paper.
Exposed Pre-finished Interior Wall & Ceiling Board
saveBOARD's exposed pre-finished internal wall & ceiling boards are a unique design feature for any residential or commercial project. The core of the product is made from shredded and compressed composite packaging, which can be seen through the transparent facing sheet. It's a durable, moisture and mould resistant wall & ceiling lining ideal for garages, accent walls, industrial spaces, hallways and other high traffic areas. Aesthetically it allows the occupants to see the make up of the board, while giving the user a sustainable and superior performing product.
The colour is created from the original consumer packaging by segregating the feed stock into different colours groups on arrival prior to manufacture.

Exterior Rigid Air Barrier
saveBOARD exterior rigid air barrier is a non-permeable, cost effective rigid air barrier for use in residential to multi-story construction. Designed for use in Extra High wind zones and in specific engineering design projects exposed to high wind pressure. Finished with an external moisture resistant Fiberglass facing material; it is an alternative to traditional building underlays. It allows builders the ability of close in a building sooner to begin interior fit out, along with additional noise and insulation properties. The fit out can be started independently of the exterior rain screen minimising potential delays to the project.

The most iconic project to date is the roof underlay of the Tesla Gigafactory One in Sparks Nevada.

Finished with a moisture resistant facing paper on both sides the Save Board internal wall & ceiling boards is a non-permeable, durable wall product.
The long edges of the boards come with tapered edges to allow for plaster stopping of the joints and surfaces.
