The video below is saveBOARD internal lining being tested for bracing capacity at Scion Timber Research Lab, part of the work behind our CodeMark design and installation guide. We have also completed testing at University of Queensland and BRANZ across different products. Designers don’t specify a building material just because it’s good for the planet. They ask about Performance, then what it Costs. Sustainability comes third or doesn’t even get mentioned which we are OK with.
That's the order we pitch our products to customers. Performance first; Our products need to perform the same or better than the traditional materials we're up against, that’s our competition. Price second: Most of what we make is competitive on price, as most clients have a budget to meet. Planet third: Circular economy is key to our business, but it's the cherry on top, not the sole reason to buy saveBOARD products.
